Shani coaches executives, women leaders, salespeople and teams to become more effective at communicating for enhanced interpersonal, social and business success. She is passionate about her clinical practice working one-on-one with adolescents and adults who have diagnoses like social anxiety, depression, ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome. Therapy is aimed at developing awareness and improving social skills in order for patients to advance their personal, academic and social lives.
Shani’s work at an adolescent medicine practice in Dallas led her to conduct interviews with campus residential life professionals, resident advisers and college students around the country. Current events and research also signaled the need for action on university campuses to proactively educate and improve social connectivity among campus constituents. Shani brings quality programming to campuses to help students connect and succeed in college while contributing to the decrease in violence and other crises on campus.
Her 23 years of academic, clinical and corporate experiences facilitated the development of two primary sets of programs for college campuses: engaging workshops for resident advisers and inspiring presentations for student groups.
